Franciszek (Frank) Chmura was born of Maciej Chmura and Maryanna Kotlarz in Poland about 1900. He immigrated to the United States about 1895 with his entire family exception of his younger sisters Zofia and Marja who were born in Chicago after the arriavl of the family. Record show that he returned to Poland for a visit. in 1907 as referenced by a ship manifest.
He married Julianna (Julie) Woznicki on February 3, 1914 at St Stanislaus Kostka Chicago, Illinois. This marriage bore Aloysius ( Irene) , Mary ( Rudy ) Heindl . Roman ivienne Hunter), Louise ( Joseph Wessel ) and Frances Sophia ( Matthew Florczak)
